We took the kids to his mom's house, who so graciously took on the task of watching them overnight, for which we are SO grateful to have her! Then headed North to check into our hotel and head to the Plaza to go boutiquing and get some authentic-delicious Mexican food.
We walked and walked and just enjoyed eachother's company.. it was a blast. We went to a movie and Tortilla Flats, it was a great trip! It's amazing what 2 days alone together can remind us how much we truly love eachother's company. It's so easy to forget that when we're struggling to get through the monotonous routines of parenting 3 kids under the age of 5. It was great just being able to talk, without interruptions or worrying about the kids' eating, sleeping, diapers, etc.
It was awesome, we had a blast!
